What is linkedin ghostwriting?

Definition: LinkedIn ghostwriting means someone else writes the posts published under your name. It is widespread among executives and founders, and Spanish agencies offering it typically charge between €250 and €950 a month.

A ghostwriter's real work is not writing, it is extraction. The raw material — the anecdotes, the numbers, the specific mistakes — belongs only to the person signing, so the process usually revolves around periodic interviews that yield several posts.

Hence its known limit: when the ghostwriter runs out of new material to extract, the posts start sounding like a template. That is the most common reason the service gets cancelled, more than price.

No LinkedIn rule forbids it and there is no obligation to disclose it. The debate is reputational rather than about the platform: publishing under your name something you did not write works as long as the content remains true about you.
