What is linkedin premium?

For someone publishing content, what it adds is extended analytics: data on who views your posts and how your reach evolves, in more detail and with more history than the free version.

What it does not do, despite the widespread belief, is improve how your posts are distributed. There is no evidence the algorithm favours paying accounts, and LinkedIn claims it nowhere.

On InMails — messages to people outside your network — it is worth knowing they run out and that cold response rates are low. They usually return less than a well-placed comment on that same person's post.
